Answer to Blake

Thy eyes so bright, thy Spirit keen.
Within thy soul Truth doth abide,
Within thy eyes Peace doth reside.
From no distant deeps or skies
Came the fire of thine eyes.
'Twas from this Earth that thou didst Spring:
Thus, here on Earth let thy Soul sing.
But poet ~
Lay down thy hammer and thy chain
And cool that furnace in thy brain.
There is no terror here to grasp -
If but thy ego will unclasp.
And of the shoulder and the art
That frame the Soul of the Heart:
I knoweth not, as no man can see
That most profound of Mystery.
And so the Stars with all their spears
And this Life too with all its tears
Will move thee not: Thou shalt not quake.
O poet born! Thou art awake.
Feline Goddess of Forest Green
Thy eyes so bright, thy Spirit keen.
Within thy soul Truth doth abide,
Within thy eyes Peace doth reside.
